GasMateX is for the documentation that comes with gas work: landlord gas safety records, service records and warning notices, completed on a phone at the job. It is built by a working gas and heating engineer, around the way that work actually runs — not around an office form.
The practical problem is familiar. The same property, appliance and customer details are typed again on each related record, and the paperwork is finished after the visit. GasMateX keeps that information against the property and reuses it on the next record, so the certificate follows the job instead of being done twice.
GasMateX is in active development. It is not yet available on the App Store or Google Play, and this page is not an App Store listing. This website is the public company and product site for Snapples Ltd.
What it does
Service records
Record boiler servicing against the same properties and appliances, and produce a service record PDF for the job.
Warning notices
Raise a warning notice as part of the same job. The app can produce a notice PDF, and it can also record a paper notice where one is issued on site.
Reusing information
Details already held for a property and its appliances are reused on related records, so you do not retype the same installation for a linked job. Unfinished work is kept as a draft on the phone so you can return to it.
The app also covers 26/9 check records. Records are stored on the phone. A public signup, cloud office, or store listing is not part of this site, and planned commercial features are not described here as if they were already available.
